Drey Willows (she/her) is a print-informed artist based in Naarm (Melbourne). Drey’s creative research is informed by her professional background as a crisis-response social worker. Curious about the spectacle of violent crime in news and popular culture, Drey uses an embodied approach to explore the complexities of the human condition; particularly the impact of trauma on the body, brain and mind. Drey completed a Bachelor of Social Work at Newcastle University in 2011 and a Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) with first class Honours at RMIT University in 2023.
